Reduction of Director's Liability Under Personal Guarantee

In August 2011 we were appointed Liquidator of a building maintenance company in West Wales. The company owned property over which the bank held security and the director had also given a personal guarantee for this debt. The Bank agreed to Byrne Associates conducting the marketing of the property and after a fairly lengthy period of marketing the property was sold enabling a repayment to the bank and as a result a substantial reduction in the director's personal liability.
