Late Payment Behind £2.5bn VAT Arrears

According to an article in Insolvency News, a lender claims that UK Businesses now owe almost £2.6bn to HMRC in overdue VAT this being despite an improving economy.

The lender claims that one of the biggest drivers of VAT arrears is late payment experienced by SME's since the credit crunch.
